Netscape Communicator Windows 95/98
- 1. Insert CD in your CD ROM
- It will start installation automatically. Choose Netscape Communicator as your browser.Choose typical. And let it create its own folder. After installation is completed follow the account setup.
- Setting up the Account
- Click Start, Click Programs, Click Netscape communicator, and click Account Setup.
- Click on the big arrow that says" Start Account Setup"
- Then click on the double arrows that say "Account Setup"
- Choose " I already have an Account"
- Choose the option: DCNET2000 then click next
- Type in your Information, click next
- Your account access phone numbers for: X2, V.90 are 713-554-2211,713-554-2213; and for K56Flex/V.90 are 713-554-2210 for HOUSTON,
- For Spring/ Tomball/ Woodlands/Magnolia for X2/V.90 is 291-791-2211,
And for Kflex/V.90 is 281-791-2210
- Login Name: Your"Username"
- Password: Your "Password"
- Now enter your e-mail username and password as above. Should be the same as your login and password. If not change it to your username and password.
- Incoming and Outgoing (SMTP) mail servers: dcnet2000.com
- server type: POP,
- Domain name, type: dcnet2000.com
- News Server: SKIP this, click next
- DNS numbers: SKIP This, Click Next
- Skip publication, click next
- Choose modem if not their already, click next
- Now enter your Phone Number
- Now click done.
- Double Click on Netscape Communicator icon
- Open up Netscape, click edit
- Click preferences
- Where Home Page Location is: http://home.netscape.com/
- Change to http://www.dcnet2000.com
- Congratulations your done!
