Wicca is a Magical Religion which has been modified to be consistent with Fairy Precepts.
The first world religion to originate in England, Wicca represents a new worldwide religious expression inspired by Mystical NATURE religions based on various pre-Christian western European beliefs and ethnic and tribal religions. The word Wiccan as a plural for Witch was used in Old English. Wicca is a variety of witchcraft founded on religious and magical concepts, and most of its adherents identify as witches. Its central deity is a Mother Goddess and it includes the use of herbal magic and benign witchcraft. The primary organization remains the coven, ideally numbering thirteen persons.

Estimates of the number of Wiccans in North America in 2000 ranged from 300,000 to the low millions. Sociological studies of Wicca show its followers as tending to be younger and better-educated than the population overall.
