Drying nets on a beach of shells,
the fleet in safe
from the ocean's Swells.

But what a story their presence tells:

Of the movement of a fish's fin,
of crying white gulls
in a crazy spin,

The water's splash,
the howling wind,
add still more
to the noisy din.

Of determined men and a wild melee,
as they battle to prove who will be,
who will be,
The fish, the fishermen,
or the relentless sea!
